RESEARCH ON THE IMPACT OF DIGITAL INNOVATIONS ON THE EFFICIENCY OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT IN UKRAINIAN BANKS
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of modern aspects of the impact of digital innovations on the efficiency of financial management of Ukrainian banks. The article considers the key challenges and opportunities that arise in the banking sector in the context of digital transformation, and provides recommendations for improving the efficiency of financial resources management. The study found that the introduction of digital technologies has a positive impact on improving the quality of customer service and optimising the internal processes of banking institutions. The main challenges remain cybersecurity issues, regulatory restrictions, insufficient digital literacy of the population, and the need for significant investment in technological infrastructure. The authors propose ways to address these challenges, including the development of an innovative ecosystem, analysis of data on banks' adaptation to the rapid development of online banking, improvement of the regulatory framework, creation of public-private partnership mechanisms for financing technology projects, and professional development of banking employees. Particular emphasis is placed on the importance of implementing Open Banking and developing financial technologies (FinTech) to increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian banks in the international market. The article is of significant practical and scientific importance for representatives of the banking industry, regulators and the scientific community, as it provides specific recommendations for the introduction of digital innovations to ensure the sustainable development of financial management. Implementation of the proposed measures will contribute to the modernisation of the banking system of Ukraine, increase its efficiency and sustainability in the context of global digitalisation.
